What is a computer virus?
A computer virus is a tiny little program that gets inside your computer and cause problems.




How does a computer virus work?
A computer virus attaches to a program or a software, and use them to replicate (make copies of the same virus).


What are the common ways to get a virus?
Your computer can get a virus anytime that receives information.


How can I prevent my computer to to get a virus?
Make sure your computer has anti-virus software installed.

Climates affect the way we live, our costumes, food, the way we dress and also the things we do. 
Climates affect our environment of course, 
animals and vegetation 
are all different depending on the climate.

What are the different activities depending on the climate?

Keep your UoI teamwork, every student must get at least 3 pictures related to the climate assigned to your group: 
Polar, cold, warm, dry and tropical.
Pictures must be about people, clothes, food, houses / transport, cities, landscapes, animals and vegetation, people habits and sports according to the climate.

2. Then upload the pictures on the class wall. Every post must include your name and a short description of the picture showed.

What is typing or keyboarding?
The action or skill of writing something on the computer.

What is the typing speed?
It is about how many words you can type in a period of time.

Why is keyboarding important?
Keyboarding is an important skill for all students. When students develop keyboarding proficiency, it helps their writing skills.
It is recommended that all students begin to learn correct placement of fingers on the keyboard as soon as they begin to use the computer.

How can we learn keyboarding?
With a lot of practice, there are many apps to learn keyboarding... we will start with basic skills.

Pre Hispanic Civilizations: Ancient Peruvian Textile Art

Ancient Paracas' Textile Art

The ancient Paracas’ textile art is considered one of the finest and sophisticated of the world. Paracas had selected weavers, completely dedicated to work in the textile activity.

Paracas’ weavers were high skilled workers and very patient to weave their textiles,  their designs were sometimes geometric as squares, diamonds or triangles, and other times about nature like animals or plants.

1. Get together with your UoI group:

2. Share de information about the relevant aspects of the culture your group is working on: Location, cultural aspects, economic activities, etc...
3. Get 5 pictures related to your topic and save it in the group folder (add your lastname).
